With what denomination do you affiliate?
Southern Baptists: We are first and foremost a fellowship of Christ followers. At the same time, we recognize that more than ever before, churches need to cooperate. Like never before individuals need to collaborate as children of Christ’s Kingdom. More than ever before, the body of Christ needs to join forces to maximize impact through the effective utilization of God’s resources. We dare not attempt to transform hearts, our city and the world alone. We are excited about our connection with like-minded fellowships that share common beliefs, values and missional behaviors.
Southern Baptists have a long history of working together for local and global ministry. We believe that by working with Southern Baptists we have the greatest opportunity to impact our city and the world for Christ. We also believe that this denomination offers great opportunities for young people and old alike to be mentored and supported along a path of missional living to make a local and global impact for the kingdom.
As Southern Baptists we have been able to do so much more than we could ever accomplish alone during the last year, including:
- Supporting over 5000 international and over 500 North American missionaries in over 150 countries.
- Starting over 1700 new churches in North America.
- Baptizing 451,000 outside the US and 415,000 in North America.
